…and to me that symbolizes looking onto new things–forgetting the old and pressing into the new. It excites me to be stepping into a New Year and see the new things that are coming. I’m grateful for the victories of the past because in each and every moment God never left our side. He never leaves us, He never forsakes us. So we say “thank you Lord” for caring for me, for loving me, for comforting me, for counseling me, “thank You Lord.” Be excited for this New Year, there are great things ahead. This is a year of supernatural protection from the Lord. Do not fear the tactics of the enemy, the things he throws at us to try and sway us because those are lies. The devil is a master liar, a master manipulator, but we have a God who is all truth–the Lord God Almighty. Know that you are more than a conqueror in this life because Jesus reigns. If you’re not walking in the truth of what Jesus says, the enemy is going to beat you up, tossing you back and forth with worries and fears like a punching bag. Those are moments to press into the Word of God and learn that you are a victorious one. When life starts to shake you, those are moments to come up higher and press into Jesus. Don’t fight the devil, fight the good fight of faith. Jesus already won the war. Remember the enemy is nothing but lies. One thing that helps me, when the enemy attacks, is to remember that the enemy has been stripped of every weapon and he is naked. You must learn to laugh at Satan because he is defeated. The Word of God quickens your spirit, and strengthens you to face the giants of our faith. It’s time to get up and fight the good fight of faith. Life is good, and God gave you life and He gave you a King, a victorious one… Jesus. It’s His breath in your lungs that allows you to live. His Word says “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” The Victorious One lives in us and is able to defeat the enemy and the lies that come against us. I pray that we will have revelation that we have the all living God inside of us.
